This month, we’re going to start our ride through the Bikes and Trikes theme as we teach our preschoolers that the Bible tells us which way to go. How wonderful would it be if our preschoolers grew up using the Bible to light their way as they ride through life!

Week one, we’ll introduce the idea of the Bible lighting our path with Psalm 119:105. With multiple flashlight activities, preschoolers will encounter a visual representation of the Bible showing us the way to go. Whenever we don’t know which way to go, we can look to the Bible to show us the way.

In week two, preschoolers will hear how John 13:34-35 tells us to love one another. And, one another means everyone, not just our best friends. The Bible tells me to look for ways to help others. Helping others is a concrete way to show love. And, we can always find ways to help each other.

During week three, preschoolers will learn that the Bible tells us we can pray to God anytime, anywhere, and about anything. Through Jeremiah 29:12, they will also learn that when we pray, He hears us. We want our preschoolers to know that no matter where they’re headed, they can always talk to God about it.

Week four is difficult for our preschoolers, but important for them to hear. Through Acts 2:45, preschoolers will hear how those in the Early Church shared their stuff and that we can too. Sharing isn’t always an easy road to ride on, but it’s always the right way to go.

So, get geared up to hop on your bike or trike so you can spend the next two months with your preschoolers learning that the Bible tells us which way to go.
