The Parent Cue is designed to help parents engage their student toward a deeper faith. Each cue is designed around the message series and weekly bottom line. Use the following cues to engage your student in a conversation about their faith.
THINK ABOUT THIS
Week 1: Creation helps us know God better.
- When we experience the bigness of creation, we experience the power and wonder of God. Stand by the ocean, look at the stars, or look at the people around you to see a little bit of God’s creation.
Week 2: Talking with God helps us know God better.
- It’s normal to be nervous when praying out loud for the first time. We’re all worried that we may not know what to say or how to say it. But remember this: There’s no right or wrong way to pray!
Week 3: Talking about God helps us know God better.
- Questions and doubts are normal. When you see your kids experiencing either, don’t worry. This is an exciting sign that they’re beginning to develop a faith of their own.
Week 4: Worship helps us know God better.
- It’s easy to miss things if we aren’t looking for them. This is especially true when it comes to creation. Keep your eyes open so you don’t miss the fingerprints of God in the world around you.
