DAY 1

The Bible was written by ordinary people who, with God’s leading, wrote down stories and truths that are still important in our lives. Their worlds were different than ours today, but by knowing the context in which they lived, we can learn a lot about ourselves. What’s one character in the Bible you want to learn more about?

DAY 2

God knows that sometimes the Bible can be difficult for us to comprehend. That’s why the Bible says that we should ask God to help us understand His words. Before you read the Bible this week, ask God to help you understand what it says.

DAY 3

Light is one of those things you don’t really think about until it’s missing. Like when you’re trying to find the bathroom or get a glass of water in the middle of the night. Without light, you stumble around, knocking things over and stubbing your toes. But flip the lights on, and everything becomes clearer. You can see your way. And the Bible is like a light when you can’t see your way. This week, talk to your Small Group Leader or parent about something you feel in the dark about and ask them for ideas about a Bible verse that addresses what you’re facing.
