INITIATIVE is a response to the character of God.
When God saw our sin, He took initiative. He sent Jesus to make things right. When we see a need and choose to do something about it, people can see the reality of God’s love for them.
All month long, we’ll be taking a closer look at one of the best examples of someone who showed initiative even when he didn’t have to.
Our Memory Verse for August can be found in Colossians 3:23a NIrV
In this verse, we read, “Work at everything you do with all your heart. Work as if you were working for the Lord.” So when you have initiative, that means you see what needs to be done and doing it.
